Plaintiff underwent
a cosmetic breast reduction, which resulted in unsightly scars and
high-riding nipples. She claimed that the surgeon was improperly performed,
and constituted medical malpractice. Defendant doctor contended that
the procedure was properly performed, and that plaintiff had a “bad
result.” Plaintiff had revision surgery that improved the scar’s
appearance but did not improve the location of her nipples. Marilyn
Nelson-Cashman, senior trial associate, tried the case to verdict. |
